I have been an enthusiastic musician for more than 30 years.
I saw the light of day in 1975 in the university clinic in Frankfurt am Main. Thus I am a Hessian. I assume that I
was then immediately put into a bell-bottom romper :D
With about 12 years I got my first keyboard. At that time a Yamaha PSR, which was not bad at that time, but
which I nevertheless exchanged with approx. 15 against the misjudged jewel Yamaha SY85. A sampler and
workstation straight from the music fair. For back in the 90s, a pretty good synthesizer. Saw it often in music
videos. With it I began to compose my first own songs. In the course of time my father, who was a musician and
bandleader himself for decades, noticed my talent and sent me to a keyboard school where I learned harmony
and fingerings. After a short time, I felt -out-. "My songs were getting better and better and increasingly I could
hardly save myself from friends and acquaintances who wanted a "tape" from me. I also began to try other
instruments. On the guitar I learned the basic chords by myself. I then practiced the same on a bass. It was very
helpful to know the handling of the instruments on my own fingers to know today how difficult or easy the
melodies are to play on the instruments. When I got my first PC (486 DX 33, 500KB Ram) some time later, my
career as a producer took its first steps.
When I was about 18 years old I founded a band together with Alexander Kräker (guitar) and Alexandra Andler
(vocals). "The Loops" and we practiced in the basement until my father surprisingly got us a special guest gig.
The audience embraced our songs and raised their lighters in the air. That was an overwhelming feeling for us
to be on stage, [ playing his own songs and seeing the whole audience with lighters.
To this day, the fascination of producing music has not left me. Almost every day new ideas and songs come
from my hands. I do not commit myself to a particular genre, rather I let my feelings speak to which style I now
let myself be led to today. But the basic genres I produce are: Ambient, Chillout, Lounge, Chillhouse, but also
Pop and Ballads on the piano, RnB, Hip-Hop and Trap. - HANDMADE - I am not a "Bob the Builder". I still come
from the old school, who still compose their music themselves and do not copy from somewhere! However, my
great passion is to make sophisticated music in which I mostly use spherical sounds. Be it chillout (sure) or
Ambient, House, Chillhouse, Drum n Bass, Elektro, Lounge or even Re-Mixes. There is always a Sven Klitsch to
feel.
